Stress Solutions+ : Turning hatred on its head Under the spotlight : Your soul purpose in life Featured service : Learn to Relax Tele-Class Series - Next start date 3rd April - Only £69! What Everyone Ought To Know About Stress : E-book available for down load right away! Learning to relax Who ever said that honesty is always the best policy is wrong. Sometimes, being frugal with the truth, distorting the facts in your favour, or deliberately allowing a person to think something without putting them right, can be best - for you, and for your relationships with them. At The 4th R, we call this "going underground" because on the surface you are creating or sustaining an illusion of things being one way, when in fact things aren't that way at all. It would be nice to think that we could be completely honest and open about our beliefs, intentions and actions all of the time and with everyone, but the fact of the matter is that we can't always do this. This isn't because we wish to be deceitful, but because we've learnt (most likely the hard way!) that being an open book isn't always best. Some times just accepting that people are different, and recognizing that the path of least resistance might involve the odd white lie, is best and more relaxing all round. Top Tip!! Be prepared by thinking ahead - it's much less stressful than revealing all and regretting it later. Tell me about the Functional Relaxation Coaching Program Turning hatred on its head In an ideal world we'd all have smart responses and great come-backs when someone says something that we don't like or find offensive, but that's not always the case. Defensiveness, shyness, fear or just plain old being stuck for words can kick in leaving us reeling with anger and regret for what we could have said but didn't. The sensible voice in your head says "forget about - move on", but it's all to easy to dismiss that sound advice in favour of days, weeks, months (and sometimes even years!!) of replaying and reliving that time when you didn't respond as you wish you had done. When you re-live an experience like that, over and over, it can lead to your hating that person, and with this hate, comes stress, and potentially ill-health. The solution is to find a way to never get to that stage, or a technique that will free you from it, if you find yourself already there. How to turn your hate for someone on its head This may seem like a strange way to look at it, but if you've become that obsessed with what someone said to you and how you did or didn't respond, it's actually telling you as much about you as it is about them. When you think of the exchange between you as "just data about each other" it gives you power and choice, and the trick to this method is to focus on what it's telling you and about you. So ask yourself this question..."What is how I am feeling telling me about myself?". It could be that you realize that you are hyper-sensitive to other people's remarks, that you default to a defensive position at the slightest provocation, that you have a tendency to get aggressive, close up, speak without thinking about the repercussions. etc. etc. The next step in this method is to thank the other person for giving you the opportunity to learn this about yourself. Literally say to yourself "Thank you (insert person's name here) for helping me to learn this about myself". In saying this to yourself, you are moving away from hate and toward a more benevolent position. Already the stress levels in you will have reduced significantly. Now put your attention on modifying this behaviour about yourself. Think about how you would like to be instead, and practice keeping your attention there. When ever you slip back into the old thinking pattern, just start over.."What is how I am feeling telling me about myself?", and, "Thank you (insert person's name here) for helping me to learn this about myself". Then return your focus of attention again on how you would like to be instead. With this method, you are in effect training your neurology toward a more resourceful position. One that will be free of un-necessary stress, tension and anxiety. This is the kind of real world practical advise that we teach in The Relaxation Training. Join us on 23rd/24th June and learn the art of Functional Relaxation, the system that enables you to make relaxed your day-to-day way of being. Click here to find out more... Your soul purpose in life Here's some food for thought for those of you that might occasionally find yourself wondering what your life's all about... It may be that your soul purpose in life is to be the kind of person that you most want to become. Learn to Relax Tele-Class Series Next start date: 3rd April Only £69! The Relaxation Training Tele-Class Series is a carefully crafted program that's been designed specifically for people who want (or need!) to learn how to relax, without delay, and from the convenience of their own home. If this is you, here's more about what you can expect: Over the course of six weeks (1 hour live tele-class per week) you will learn: Lesson One How to relax your body and free yourself from the harmful tension that leads to common aches and pains Self-awareness (specifically bodily-awareness in this case), is essential for health, and it's the bedrock for Functional Relaxation. This tele-class will teach you, step-by-step, what to do to increase your self-awareness and consequently your levels of personal power, choice and control. Lesson Two How come certain people just seem to be so "sorted" and relaxed all the time: Discover the timeless wisdom that these people all have in common What is it that makes some people so naturally positive, content and relaxed, while others strive to lighten up and let go?! This tele-class teaches the fundamental premises by which the former group of people live their lives - fundamental premises that are available to you, so that you can replace anxiety with calm, lighten up and let go. Lesson Three How making adjustment to your physiology directly impacts how you are feeling Ever noticed how some days it's as if you can't put a foot down wrong and "life's good", and others ....well ...I'll leave you to fill in the detail! Your body/mind is one system, and the experience you are having is a result of a complex biological process. You have within you the 'blueprint' for how you are when you are at your best, and accessing this highly resourceful state is done by making certain adjustments to your physiology. Would you like to know how to be at your best intentionally, instead of it being left to chance of having a good day? Then be sure to listen in to this tele-class! Lesson Four 3 lesser known "stress busting" techniques that are ESSENTIAL to a life that works - (So essential that we think they should be taught in schools!): Guaranteed to especially help the most worrying / over busy / indecisive mind Imagine having up your sleeve, accessible anytime and anywhere, your own "Internal Compass" that will help you to make decisions that never compromise you and always keep you on track toward the life that you want to be living. Now imagine what it will be like to regain control when ever you get stuck in one of those worry loops (when you keep replaying things in your mind that have already happened, or going over things you anticipate happening in the future). Next, imagine being able to diffuse potentially explosive (and stressful!) situations just by asking yourself one simple question... Lesson Five How to control the power of your mind and actually live the life that you want to be living This tele-class is where you'll be introduced to the mythology aspect of the MythoSelf Process (the method we primarily use to teach Functional Relaxation). Human's have always made up stories (myths) to make sense of the world around them, and provide a "map" by which to live their life. Modern man, including you and I, are no exception. We create myths to live by, and many people also live by myths that have been handed down to them through parents/carers, teachers, friends the media etc. What myth are you living by? Is it one that is in keeping with who it is you want to be becoming? Lesson Six Immediate and effective natural pain control techniques and Top Tips for getting a full and restful nights sleep Benefit from the experience of someone who has himself, for well over 10 years, refined how to control pain naturally at its onset. Charles Moore will teach you things that you can do for yourself to naturally manage pain, and also provide you with proven techniques to help even the most die-hard insomniac get a full and restful nights sleep.
