Here are some examples of cues that you could use to bring your attention to your body and release any muscle tension that may have crept up on you…
The taking responsibility cure to stress A sure fire way to drain yourself of energy and to feed stress is to blame others for things you’re not happy about in your life. Everything comes about through our own design, including the things that are going on for us that we don’t particularly like. We create the reality that we live in and blaming others is a denial of this responsibility. A way to “cure” yourself of this stressful and unhealthy trait is to recognize and reward yourself every time that you do take responsibility. Here’s what to do: Every time that you recognize yourself going down the ‘blaming other’ road, say to your self... “That’s that old pattern creeping up on me again! It doesn't’t serve me any more which is why I'm about to do something positive to take responsibility instead”. Then say or do what ever it is that demonstrates self-responsibility and reward yourself for having done so. Make sure that the reward is something special – a real treat! Hot topic The MythoSelf® Process is becoming known for its amazing effectiveness at giving procrastinators and any one stuck in the chronic "I can't decide" or "I don't know what I want" syndrome a gentle but sure kick up the back side. If this is you, and you want to put a stop to the endless "ifs, buts and maybes" then read on.. The method we use works by raising your awareness to what is going on in and with your body when you are in the process of considering options about what to be doing. Let's use an example. What I want is to be an incr(e)dible mum. The kind of mum that's an exemplary role model to her children in every way. I want to be demonstrating through my own actions and words what I would like my children to learn. I also want my husband to be around while our children are growing up which means I am going to support him so that together we build a business that allows him to work from home, or close to home. Then something arrives in the mail one day. Details about a teacher training course that I'd teased myself with a few years before. A course that still today is very interesting to me and one that I know I'd enjoy and get a lot from, Here's the decision making method I went through. The decision to be made is always “will doing “X” (in this case embarking on a 4 year teaching training course) move me toward what it is I want?” As I am asking myself this question, my body shifts. It is organizing itself in a particular way (that is unique to me) that will guide me in my decision. I know that when my body shifts in one particular way, "X" is a good decision, and when my body shifts in another particular way, "X" is not a good decision for me. By "good" I mean when alignment exists between me, "X", and what I want. Sometimes I don't get a clear Yes or No either way when I ask myself "will doing "X" move me toward what it is I want?". This is a loud and clear signal that more information is needed before I can decide. When this is the case, I don't proceed, and I recommend that you don't either. Gather more information, and then review. In this instance though, my body responded loud and clear. I tore the application form up and stuck to the path I am on. Your body also responds when you are considering options about what to be doing. The question is, are you awake enough from your neck down to recognize and act on your bodies response? So the trick to taking the stress out of making decisions rests upon two things: 1. Really knowing what it is you want. I’m not talking about the small stuff or the attainment of material things necessarily. Think “bigger picture” instead – how do you want to be remembered? What kind of a person do you want to become? What kind of life will you be living? 2. Having good bodily self awareness so you can differentiate between the things that are aligned with your future held desire, and those that aren’t. When you've been shown how to master these two things, there will be no stress attached to decision making. No "ifs buts or maybes". Just effortless decision making where your mind and body are working together as a whole. Dance of the Elements™ - A MythoSelf® Program is a remarkable breakthrough for excessively busy minds.
