Stop binge drinking by learning how to relax using the Functional Relaxation System

South West London or over the telephone

What ever the reason for your binge drinking, The 4th R can help you to stop using the Functional Relaxation System

Binge drinking is categorized as a person drinking excessively and quickly with the intent of becoming very intoxicated.  A binge drinker might drink a vast quantity of alcohol quickly, wanting to be intoxicated. Binge drinking is alcohol abuse that was previously associated with drinking heavily over a two or three day period. Today, it’s more commonly associated with heavy drinking in a short amount of time.  Binge drinking often occurs with young people for social reasons. It also exists with people who go on a binge or “bender” as a result of anger, frustration or stress.  Drinking is often used to numb emotional pain, as, while intoxicated, ones mind is not on their problems (usually).

When binge drinking is a result of stress, anxiousness or frustration with one’s circumstances, the result is not positive.  A person who drinks excessively because they are frustrated about their marriage, finances or job does himself or herself more harm than by learning to face their problems sober and level-headed.  Alcohol can make situations escalate and can result in further emotional, financial and even medical problems.  Alcoholics can become very ill with problems in their stomach and major organs such as their liver and pancreas. Binge drinking is not going to help anyone solve their problems.

If you or someone you love has a problem with binge drinking, for reasons other than social immaturity, the problem needs to be addressed.  Binge drinkers ultimately know that their problems will be there after they return to sobriety, and this knowledge tends to stay with them right through the process of inebriation.  The quick fix of binge drinking does nothing but temporarily numb the pain.  Learning to not need alcohol in the first place is what is required, and this is how relaxation for health specialists The 4th R can help.
